Tigers’ football training takes place on a Thursday after school. Every squad member trains each week and from training a team is selected to play matches. On Thursday 13th October we had our first matches of the year. It was the first round of the JP League at Salford Sports Village.
First,we had a match against Moorside and it was very slow start but we sneaked a goal at the end -happily the game ended 1-0 and Jake got the goal.
Game two we played with the same team from the last game. Junior came on for Tyler and Callum came on for Aaron. Callum was running around in circles then unfortunately they scored. We kicked off to start over but, sadly, the full time whistle went.
5 out of 6 games won so far…well done, team! Let’s hope we have another good match tonight!

Our school is proud to be part of the Children's University Trust.
The Children's University (CU) Trust is a charitable trust that provides 7 to 14 year olds with exciting and innovative learning activities and experiences outside normal school hours. We celebrate achievement and reward participation through our certificates. Raising children's aspirations is important to us and we aim to develop the understanding that learning can be "...a satellite navigation system to better places in life…".
