Posada - Preparation for Christmas
In school we have been thinking about Posada, which is a Mexican tradition during Advent. This tradition focuses on the importance of being welcoming, not just with friends and relatives, but people we do not know...a bit like the people who sheltered Mary and Joseph on their journey to Bethlehem.
With this in mind, in the run up to Christmas, we are going to be inviting Mary and Joseph (and the donkey!) into different classes...it will be exciting to see what they get up to!
They certainly had a lovely time at Mrs Dearing's house over the weekend :)
