What is Pupil Premium?

Pupil Premium funding supports the way Godfrey Ermen Primary School can provide for key groups of children to achieve their full potential. The funding is used to provide a range of experiences for children to meet their needs. Some children need extra support and we use the Pupil Premium to ensure that we can provide support for this.

Information

Pupil Premium funding is allocated each year (beginning on 1st April). The funding is based on the number of children who are eligible in October and revised in January.

Children eligible for the Pupil Premium

  • Children eligible for Free School Meals at any time in the last 6 years. (Ever 6)
  • Looked After Children (LAC)
  • Reception children eligible for Free School Meals

What is the current allocation of Pupil Premium?

The current allocation of funding for 2023 to 2024 is £204 373.

Sports Premium

For the academic year 2023-24, the sport premium allocation is £19,180.

At Godfrey Ermen we are keen invest heavily in opportunities for our children to take part in a range of activities, including competitions with other schools, competitions in school and introducing children to new sports and activities.
